Tudor Hydrotherapy Sheffield

Beth C

Beth joined Tudor in 2019 after graduating from Newcastle University with a BSc in Animal Science where she was able to research the effects of Hydrotherapy on the canine gait using accelerometery. She grew up with German Shepherds, a Scottish terrier, two horses and has been an animal lover from a very young age.

Having sparked her passion for Small Animal Rehabilitation at university, Beth qualified in the Level 3 Certificate for Small animal Hydrotherapy in 2015 at Greyfriars, Advanced Treadmill in 2016 with Animal Jobs Direct, became a K-Laser therapist in 2017 and qualified in Aquatic Massage in 2019 with Canine Physio.

After initially qualifying in 2015 she worked at a busy centre in the North East for 2 years and then journeyed down to Northamptonshire where she helped to run a livery yard in addition to the Hydrotherapy centre. Beth has managed the centre for the last 6 years and will be passing her waders on to Hannah to take over while she takes a break form working with dogs....to starting a family!

Hannah

Hannah has always had a strong love and passion for dogs and the rehabilitation of animals. Hannah dedicated her academic studies to the care and well-being of animals after completing an Animal Management extended diploma in 2018 which included a placement module at a Canine Hydrotherapy centre where her love and passion became even more apparent and encouraged her to work within the veterinary rehabilitation industry.

In 2018 Hannah volunteered in South Africa for 4 months to help orphaned animals and help rehabilitate and care for injured and sick animals such as rhinos, elephants and cheetahs.

In 2019 Hannah completed her level 3 canine hydrotherapy at Greyfriars canine hydrotherapy centre. Hannah then qualified in 2023 from Writtle University College with a Master's in Veterinary Physiotherapy where she completed her dissertation on the effects of joint range of motion during different stretching frequencies. She then went on to complete her level 4 award in canine hydrotherapy. Hannah joined Tudor in 2025 to take over managing the centre from Beth C as she goes on maternity leave in the summer of 2025.

Hannah has a Whippet of her own and outside of work enjoys taking her on nice walks in the peak district. Hannah’s next steps will be to continue to develop her skills through CPD hours to ensure she can provide the best possible care for you and your best friend.

Beth F

Beth has been an animal lover since she was very little. Beth persuaded her parents to have a puppy when she was 5 and finally asking for riding lessons paid off for her 6th birthday! Throughout her childhood we had a small scale goat farm. Beth was heavily involved with every aspect from feeding to kidding.

She went on to study biology through 6th form which allowed her to go on to Newcastle University to studying for a BSc in Animal Science. Before moving on to university life, Beth spent 3 months in New Zealand volunteering on a Stud Bull farm. After this amazing experience she studied hard and achieved her Bachelors degree from Newcastle University.

Whilst at university Beth was introduced to McTimoney by a friend with top class event horses. She made the treatment the basis of her dissertation and went on to spend a lot of time shadowing a practitioner. Having seen the difference it can make, Beth knew she had to go on to study the technique herself. Beth was accepted into the Post graduate certificate programme in which she spent a year learning about soft tissue massage techniques. Once this was completed she moved on to the Masters Degree, learning in depth about the biomechanics and anatomy of horses and dogs, as well as the practical element of McTimoney chiropractic adjustments.

Beth joined and trained as L4 Hydrotherapist in 2023 and has been working with us part time to help keep up with demand for appointments and continuing to provide tailored rehabilitation to our patients.
